[IGDA_indies] Is the SIG still alive?

So far, it seems like the Indie SIG needs to have chapters. I've had
several successful SIG meetings and even mini-conferences here in
Austin. But I really want to have a real Indie Games Conference down
here. Even though it may not be directly created by the SIG I would
hope there'd be some involvement by SIG members including myself of
course.

We tried to have a board a while back, but it never worked out :/
However, I now have some people I'm working with in the SIG here in Austin
that would be good board members, and I have contact with the old board members
as well so we can get that going.

I'm working on 6 initiatives here in Austin and I hope some of them
will transfer to
the larger SIG as well. Info coming ASAP.

Will these new tools be Mac-compatible? I already use IRC quite a bit. Also some
of the new initiatives should be helpful to the SIG and the IGDA at
large as well.

Thanks
Michael
