I like BBC Radio 6 Music as well, especially Marc Riely, Mary Ann Hobbs and
Gideon Coe's shows.
BBC radio site as far as I'm aware, is not geo blocked like the TV site. So
no need for VPNs, which is handy too lol
They recently did a few specials on Radiohead, that were good and some good
coverage of Glastonbury.
Also worth a listen is The John Peel Lecture

Any other radio stations from around the world, people would recommend?
Most have online streams now. Australia's Triple J
<http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/> and US's KEXP <http://kexp.org/>, whose
session by Tycho <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_56qQqxvm4>, from a few
years back still a favourite of mine.
Got to see Tycho, this summer, well worth the wait and highly recommend
catching if in your town.
There used be one decent Irish radio station, Phantom FM, but it closed a
year or so after they got a licence.
The change from pirate station to commercial station killed them, but they
were about the only station that gave decent airplay to young unsigned
bands, rest just the chart dross.
