[kj] (OT) Faith No More in LA

FNM and Prong (with Raven) did a brief joint tour together in the early 90s. Two of my favourite bassists, two of my favourite drummers, and Mike Patton too. That's a gig I'd like to have seen.

Jim.

 Haha, nice to hear. Alex
mentioned something similar about a FNM / Soundgarden /
Voivod gig back in the 90s I think.  I managed to catch
Soundgarden's private gigs in Melbourne and Sydney as
 well...so I'm a happy Soundgardener.

Waiting for Tool to get back
down this way, and I'd love to see Killing Joke swing by
again of course, but after only ever playing NZ twice,
I'm not holding my breath (much).

 Darren, Johnny, Oliver: get bent!

Wow, that brings back memories! Got to see
Soundgarden open for FNM, Queensrÿche and Metallica at
'Day on the Green' in 1991 at the Oakland Coliseum -
first date of the Black Album tour. I came to the same
conclusion - SG killed everyone (although FNM &
Metallica were great - never been a fan of QR).
