Haha, nice to hear. Alex mentioned something similar about a FNM / Soundgarden / Voivod gig back in the 90s I think.  I managed to catch Soundgarden's private gigs in Melbourne and Sydney as well...so I'm a happy Soundgardener. 

Waiting for Tool to get back down this way, and I'd love to see Killing Joke swing by again of course, but after only ever playing NZ twice, I'm not holding my breath (much). 

Darren, Johnny, Oliver: get bent!

Wow, that brings back memories! Got to see Soundgarden open for FNM, Queensrÿche and Metallica at 'Day on the Green' in 1991 at the Oakland Coliseum - first date of the Black Album tour. I came to the same conclusion - SG killed everyone (although FNM & Metallica were great - never been a fan of QR).
