I'm sure they do.

But if you can lie and pretend that there was only a couple of songs to go,
then why bother doing anything about it at all ?

The promoter and the venue dont owe the punters anything, they are just
corporate cunts, that do what they do

The band on the other hand.... hmm...

Come to think of it, they also are just acting like corporate cunts that do
what they do...

Silence and move on....
