Two faced hypocrisy if you ask me especially after the criticism of the
Cult's meet and greet. Maybe not practical but wouldn't it have been good
if KJ had tried to make it one for the hard core of fans (Gathering ?) who
lost considerable amounts of dosh with cancelled gigs etc. Jaz never
hesitates to wheel out the "the Gathering one big family" thing when it
suits. No it's come down to 'if you can afford it'. I could easily afford
to go, and would dearly love to, but I don't think it would sit well with
me.
For me Killing Joke has come down to just buying the standard album release
when it comes into the shops and buying a gig ticket as late as possible to
the gig date and only if they are playing local. Anything else is a waste
of time and more importantly money.
Hate to say all this when we are talking about the best band on the planet
but it's true.
