Some other prescient song lyrics
"The Democratic-Communist relationship
won't stand in the way of the Islamic force" ~~ world destruction; time zone
"The ghost of Manhattoes
Shrieking as they fall
From AT&T...[biggest tenant of the Twin Towers]" ~~ goodbye mr.ed; tin machine
... ... ... ... ... ...
[looking at the current state of things..]
'Who has the fun..
..is it always a man with a gun...?
Someone must have told him if you work too hard... you can sweat"

During a walk to work earlier this week, my iPod played "Obsession" on a random shuffle. Sure, the production is awful and it largely lacks all semblance of balls, but it isn't all bad. Consider the prescience:
We Build the Tower/Tower Falls Down/All My Dreams Come True (or something)/Sweet Jesus & Mohammed/Disputes between the Boys......
Or maybe Jaz was just really high at the time.

You could credit the thief for having good taste, at least -- even if he/she still was totally wrong in nicking your tapes.

I love Hosannas too, especially Majestic and The Lightbringer ... sorry Jon ... time to relay that ancient anecdote, when sometime in 88/89 when I carelessly left my car unlocked at Ealing Common tube station ... came back from work to find the door latch up ... car stereo was still there ... I had 3 tapes in there ... 2 of them (OTG and BTATS) had gone ... but "Billy Idol : Idol Songs (11 Of The Best)" was still there ... even though someone had bothered to peel off the Our Price sticker ! :o)
