First use DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD and put the files on your hard drive. It can be obtained here:

If you have the full version of Nero you can use Nero Recode to shrink it to fit on a single layer DVD.

If you have one the OEM versions of Nero that just has the burning software, get DVD Shrink and use it to do the reduction and it will use the Nero to burn it to the disc.

Does anyone know a good, reliable, free, easy, carbon-neutral, politically correct way to copy a DVD, creating a DVD that can be played in a standard DVD player? I have a few Yoga tapes someone at work wanted to make a copy of, I will get there eventually but my attempts to burn DVDs in the past have been a bit frustrating.
