You are also incorrect B.
The first gulf war was because the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq and the second gulf was was because Saddam wouldn't allow weapon inspectors in to inspect his country.
Its very simple, those are the reasons for both of the gulf wars .
And I dont see how you can interpret the fact that we are discussing things as being a sign that we dont trust the reasons that Politicians gave us .We discuss things because ...............well I dont know why....we just do

Whatever the real reason for the invasion of Iraq, the fact that we are
debating what the real reason was -- shows we don't trust the reasons
politicians gave us. The reasons they gave us kept changing anyway.
Geographic central hub for terror. Because we love the Iraqi public so
much we're willing to spill our own blood to free'em from Saddam.
Because he had WMDs.

Most of the oil reserves in Iraq are untapped, and probably would have
remained untapped under Saddam's clumsy management.

So, a war predicated on fraudulent premises -- is that a good thing? Or
ever-shifting premises? Or premises we have to guess at, some people
ridiculously asserting it was for the best among many reasons given, I
guess because they like to think highly of the folks in charge -- is
that a good thing?

It's rotten all around.
