So all Jack Straw has to do is say that he finds them personally uncomfortable- not that they're bad, or a problem for everyone, just that he himself finds it difficult- and women will stop wearing the item, which has been enshrined in their culture for thousands of years? So now that Straw the Superman has "informed" these people of the problems the hijab causes for one person, "many women" are going to give it up?
