welcome mate ... it's an interesting proposition after all these years ...
but even though punk/post-punk/grunge/metal seemed to fuse somewhere down
the line (especially post-Nirvana) I do fear that they might face the wrath
of the metal crowd, mainly cos they look like a bunch of old blokes, and the
Joke sound has always veered towards heavy riffs and pummelling drums rather
than a conventional heavy rock guitar with numerous solos etc ... I suspect
a curtailed and brutal set will be required ... a bit like when The Pale
Fountains supported KJ at the Hammy Palais & they looked and played like the
UK Subs ... but they still got splattered ... Aztec Camera revisited ... ha
ha ha ... mind you, I'm sure KJ will get a more interested crowd than at
V2003 ... coming on mid-afternoon straight after Athlete was hardly
appropriate ...
