[kj] RE:Faces of Sarah gig

Enjoyed the gig last night. Unfortunately missed the first two songs of
faces of sarah, as they had to play very early w/o a sound check. I
don't know what happened to mel. We did look for you, and I know colsey
said he looked for you too before we got there (and he actually knows
what you look like). I was looking for a purple scarf and the trousers,
but it wasn't exactly scarf and trousers weather. I thought 'F's of S'
were easily the best of the evening, musically. The other two bands were
very image, rather than musically driven, I felt. The second band
'Bloody Mary' had a singer that looked like Edward Scissorhands - he
wore PVC with many zips. The main band 'Theatre des Vampires' were sort
of Cradle of Filthish with a foreign girl singer in a PVC bikini and
black fishnets. She did a few tricks with an inverted crucifix and a
picture of the pope but it was pretty predictable and tame. Me and
Christine, my friend, enjoyed ourselves very much.

I shall look forward to meeting you on another occasion Mel.

It certainly set me up for my daughter's birthday next day. Even though
I only got home at 2.30ish due to a limited train service, I felt fine
the next day, and everything fell into place with the great weather,
etc.

Juliet

"That" song is indeed available by the CT on numerous live bootlegs,
Which can/could be found at Camden Market
