The songs on BTATS are very strong (mostly - never liked Under A Southern Sky, or Love of the Masses). Anyone who saw KJ at Reading Festival in 86 will testify that they were blinding. They played 6 out of 8 tracks from the vinyl LP, and they rocked. (Twilight of the Mortal and Rubicon were always very powerful live.)

However, the album suffers from a mid-Eighties gloss that serves it badly, both in terms of appearance (what were they thinking?) and production (er, what were they thinking?)... but it's a great album, no doubt. Glad you've come round to liking it, Tin.
