I think a KJ interview (w/Youth and Geordie) circa-Pandemonium said it best in that the members of KJ are individuals and have different viewpoints, etc.... and they said some insightful things about Jaz Coleman. Is he a brilliant artist? Absolutely. Should every word out of his mouth be taken as doctrine? Fuck no. Most of the time he's in a perpetual wind-up, anyway, especially regarding interviews.
Tom (actually trying to post again!).

That is what I cant understand, i listened to an interview with Jaz recently and 75% of what he said was bullshit and the other 25% I just ignored because I thought that all the rest was bullshit so thats probably bullshit as well.
How can you take someone so seriously when he blatantly tells massive lies on a constant basis?
Dont the lies and deceit devalue and undermine his other statements? You guys should get in touch with reality. It makes perfect sense to me that such a prolific liar cant find a record company to release a spoken word album(Gems Of Power).
Can someone explain to me the lure of believing in frauds? All the things he said he has done i always look for evidence before I believe it, was he really responsible for the changing of the NZ national anthem? i mean, did he insigate it or did he have a coffee with the singer a few weeks after the advent?
*******Due to persons being recently banned from this list, I have a strong feeling that I may be next for a ban and may not receive any replies to this(if it gets through), so if you have a valid explanation as to why persons hang on to Jaz's everyword, maybe you could post it on Wardances board, cheers******
The story is old and over played but those words came stright from the
horses mouth. For him to look back and realize that is not why he went OR
that he was wrong is fine. He may have not believed that from the get go
and thought it would be much more dramatic to say something like that. I
have realized that you have to take everythign he says with a grain of salt.
And that may sound a little odd coming from a band that is at the top of
my list. BUT his music/actions speak louder than words (spoken).
I will admit that most of his interviews I gloss over quickly. This last
one though grabbed my attention. MAybe it is because we wasn't
as....theatrical. I don't know he seemed more open and telling on this one.
And as far as the release being a year away that my be the labels doing and
not the band. I will say that I am disappointed that the new site is not
being utilized better. And I do know that it is not Jesters doing. Working
with a band that has minimal interest in this sort of communication is like
pulling teeth.
