Talking about someone hurting or taking advantage of your child? You don't
have kids do you? Parents usually do actually care about their kids more
than that, and often times try and protect and defend them, without
"rationalizing" things in such a manner as you put here. Seeing your kids
upset at the hands of another, or hurt by inconsiderate or negligent
actions of another goes beyond words. In other words, someone takes
advantage o, my daughter, or hurts her, I will fucking kill
them...painfully, immediately. A judge and jury will not come into the
equation. And trust me, friend, it has nothing to do with  what is or is not
considered rape, but everything to do with "that is my child, my blood, and
someone I love more than my very own existence, to the core of my every
being". Till you have a child, you will never know these types of feelings,
nor understand the thought process.
