※パーキングについて
Thank you for your registration for the 19th Keizai Society Shinnenkai on
Friday, January 30, 2008. Due to a larger than anticipated turn-out, we
strongly recommend carpooling to this event and that you use a car that has
a GPS system to make sure you don't miss the Alexis turnoff, off Page Mill.
Alternatively, there is a park & ride for commuters at the south east corner
of Arastradero Rd & Page Mill Road as you exit at Page Mill from Hwy 280.
It is 1.4 miles to the event location. You may find it more convenient to
carpool from there.
At the Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club, we provide both self-parking
and valet parking. If you cannot find a spot in the self-parking area (2nd
and 3rd tiers), please use the valet parking service at the lobby entrance.
The valet parking is complement of the Keizai Society for your convenience.
(Please tip the valet personnel at your discretion)
Please note that the Country Club does not allow the guests to park on the
street or they will be towed.
Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you on Friday!
Directions:
Take the Page Mill exit from Hwy 280 and go for 1.4 miles towards the Santa
Cruz mountains. Turn right on Alexis Drive (there is a dimly lit Palo Alto
Hills Golf and Country Club sign) which is the street immediately past the
sign. Then go for .5 miles through the residential area until you see the
sign on the right that indicates the Country Club parking.

We recommend making sure the direction of Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country
Club in advance from the above URL in order to make it easier for yourself
as the roads are narrow and dark in the area.

DR. KAZUO INAMORI
Dr. Kazuo Inamori was born in Kagoshima, Japan, in 1932. He graduated from
Kagoshima University in 1955 with a Bachelor of Sciences degree. Four years
later he established Kyoto Ceramic Co., Ltd. (now Kyocera Corporation) and
developed it into a world-leading enterprise -- with products ranging from
fine ceramics material to information and communications equipment. He was
named President of the Company in 1966, Chairman in 1985, and Founder and
Chairman Emeritus in 1997.
In 1984 Dr. Inamori made a personal endowment to establish the non-profit
Inamori Foundation and became its President. At the same time, he created
the Kyoto Prize, an international award presented by the Foundation each
November 10 to recognize individuals and groups worldwide who have made
outstanding contributions to the betterment of society and humankind.
When Japan's telecommunications industry was liberalized in 1984, Dr.
Inamori quickly took the initiative to establish DDI Corporation and became
its Chairman. DDI merged in 2000 with KDD and IDO to become KDDI
Corporation. Dr. Inamori served as KDDI's Chairman Emeritus and is now its
Honorary Advisor.
His voluntary service now includes leading the "Seiwa-Juku," a private
business school operating in 60 locations, including seven outside Japan.
As Seiwa-Juku President, Dr. Inamori teaches his management philosophy at no
charge to more than 5,000 young business owners and entrepreneurs.
