[Scons-users] SCons popularity

I need to talk to Vasily on which items we do if any. I think I we have alterative solutions to some of the issues, but not direct support for the exact variables autoconf uses. These may not be hard to address, but I would like to be able to document the exact process myself. To some degree it does not exist is it is not documented some place ☺

Parts integration is already on the todo list.
If Parts already handles some of GNU compatibility issues, then perhaps that should be our first consideration?

I think Parts needs to document any of these items that do work... I don’t believe anything here is documented.

Hi everybody,
Sorry for hijacking your thread, but most of the stuff you're talking here, especially prefixes, bindir and such, are already implemented in Parts (parts.tigris.org<http://parts.tigris.org>).
Did you look there?
Thanks,
Vasily

There also was a thread about a year ago (2014, 09 may) on scons-dev
(search for title "prefix, bindir, datadir, libdir, etc.").
