[IGDA_indies] GPL/LGPL, etc

I use GPL for all of my game projects, though I am considering possibly
changing the license.
From what I've seen and heard, it seems that some project managers will
waive the license for a certain group in exchange for money or credit.
Some licenses (like the Creative Commons licenses) actually seem to
allow for this.
As for commercial usage of open source licenses, I can point to at
least a few:
All Linux distributions (GPL, etc)
Apple Mac OS X - based on Darwin/FreeBSD (BSD and APL licenses)
Magnant ( http://www.insectwar.com ) - GPL source code, but graphics
are commercially licensed.
