Hi Gatherers,
my webspace provider informed me that the email list functionality we've
been using for this list for the last 25 years will be turned off by the
end of the year. Apologies for letting you all know so late, the
notification arrived a few weeks ago but was lost in my to-do list.
Now - this list has not seen much activity in the last few years; I
assume most of you won't miss it a lot. However, if you'd like to
continue using such a list feel free to find another mailing list
provider. My webspace provider might have a replacement service at some
point, but not so far.

That's a pity, but inevitable really I guess. It's been a great list
over the years, lots of informative posts and lots of drama.
Thank you for the list Andy and thanks to rest of you all just being there
over the years. Even though for obvious reasons the content has all but
ceased, I for one will miss the list, not being a Faecesbook fan.

I learned so much going far beyond Killing Joke.
So as a final inquiry to the group does anyone know if the demos that Atkins is releasing is the same tracks that?s on disc one of Inside Extremities? No one seems to be able to answer definitively.

Thank you very much, Andy for all these years of the Gathering List.
Memories spontaneously come back to me of Paul Raven's direct interventions, the excitement of the unexpected release of the new album in 2003 with the explosive preview listening of Implant, and above all the fact that I was able to rub shoulders online with enthusiasts whom I finally got to meet at the first concert on 14 August 2003 at the Underworld in London and in the following years all over the world.
The more basic beginnings of today's lists of knowledgeable fans on Facebook, but with formidable effectiveness.
Thank you all for these wonderful encounters (except Rob Moss, of course, ha ha ha) and these moments shared among connoisseurs.
