[kj] Roundhouse

Of the classics from the first album era, Pssyche is likewise the one I would really miss.  And I hear what Paul is saying about how we would all have a slightly different choice for the ones to keep in the set BUT I would sacrifice all of my regular favourites just to hear a radically different set.  I suspect a lot of people would.
Regarding the sound last night.  I think the Roundhouse has very variable sound (i.e. depending on where you're standing / sitting, not which night it is) and that seemed to be my experience last night as I shifted around the venue.  Or maybe someone was just twiddling the knobs.
Asteroid - yeah, it's one of those tracks that feels like it has the right components for a crowd-pleaser, and I enjoyed it on the relevant tour way-back-when... but it's grown old fast (for me, anyway).  Definitely one to drop (but they won't).
That said, I'm not here to complain.  It was a great night, and I'm pleased to still be seeing the Joke more than 35 years since the first time.

Never really got Asteroid. Maybe it's an audience participation thing.
I've radically adjusted my expectations re setlists given the last 20
years, so in that context I thought it was pretty good, but deep down
I know what could have been. They seemed to struggle for an opener
this tour but finally got it right with Unspeakable. Even on this list
there's quiet a diversity of opinion so in a way they're on a hiding
to nothing... they just shouldn't have written so many good songs!
