[kj] Bum's Rush

That's still standard practice in many parts of the world, particularly where Hollywood budgets are not available (everywhere except Hollywood, basically).

Funny you mention that; the album photo doesn't
actually appear in the film. That used to happen a lot with
silent films; they didn't have the technology to pull
stills from the actual print, so they set-up separate promo
 shots with a still camera.

Wow, you live and learn. Just watched some of it, he
has many of Stan Laurel's mannerisms,

did one influence the other? Strangely the whole scene in
that storage room doesn't seem to

include the album photo. Unless there's another scene in
there, but its over an hour long...

No; it's Harry Langdon from the 1926 silent film
"The Strong Man," directed by Frank Capra.

"Bum's Rush" has just been referred to
(incorrectly) for so long as the "Laurel &
Hardy" cover that I just stuck with it to avoid
confusion. Do you think people would know what I meant if I
 said "the Harry Langdon" cover?

That’s not Laurel and Hardy on the
 front though, is it?
