I had 2 buy a ticket to linkin park in 2007 to see Chris Cornell open. Saw linkin park again last Sunday, well for literally one min of one song, plus blink 182, sum41 and other of their ilk. In order to see tomahawk, kyuss lives, a perfect circle, cypress hill, metallica, slayer, anthrax. Kyuss lives was the highlight. Altho anthrax covering TNT by ACDC, holy shit that was fun.

Took eldest daughter to see Linkin Park at Reading Festival in 2003 plus step daughter to Blink 182 ditto.  That was just dull (and occasionally funny) rather than soul-destroyingly awful... as I imagine One Direction will be.



I've been to some pretty awful punk gigs, come to that...

because my mrs has flatly refused to go i have to take my 10 year old daughter to see one direction on saturday night at £32.50 a ticket!





i do have the consolation prize of senser and killing joke in consecutive nights in 2 weeks!





what's the most embarassing band other gatherers have had to see?
