[kj] Box set already damaged

The TDARS documentary began with something along the lines of "Based on 'In
Cythera' by Jaz Coleman - I'm not sure the doco will be the same by the time
it comes to your shores, the director Shaun mentioned that the NZ audience
were a test audience in some respects and the 150 min version we saw would
be whittled down to about 90 mins, but hopefully there will be a deluxe
version of the DVD or it will be part of the extras...I'd also recommend
going to the regional premieres if they happen. I really hope you guys get
to see the same footage and we can all buy it on DVD.

Also, I saw an interview with Jaz at some stage in the haze of the last few
days, where he said that he thinks someone called 'Black Jester' (his ex
girlfriend he thinks) leaked an early PDF copy of the manuscript for his
book - which isn't indicative of the final version. I'll try to find the
interview - and wrap up the last few days events into the bargain.

I think either in this interview, or at the doco, Jaz mentioned that the
book is a few weeks away, anyway I'll get some sleep and find it soon.

When I ordered the super-deluxe box set (as I figured: fuck it, I work hard
for my money, why not?), I was already several beers into an evening. As
such, I threw caution and restraint to the four winds and also ordered a
t-shirt to go with it (`cos, y'know, GOD FORFUCKINGBID I don't get another
Killing Joke t-shirt). Similarly, I was in a state of advanced refreshment
when I ordered Jaz's book (updates about which have become rather seldom,
no?)

In any case, the box has yet to arrive. I have hope that it will. But
yesterday, on its own, the shirt arrived.

It's nice. Red with the album cover art from. Smartly, it does NOT say "THE
SINGLES COLLECTION 1979-2012. I imagine someone rightly assumed that would
like odd on a t-shirt.

Anticipating the super-duper-deluxe box any day now.
