Saw them about 5 weeks ago - don't worry lots of old classics from Peaches,
Straighten Out, Sleazy to Raven era, but a good mix - some like Skin Deep
and Always the Sun (I like both) and some of the last three albums
especially Giants which is great. Did play Thrown Away and Who Wants the
World recently two of my favs not played either for a long time.

I'm going to try to see the Stranglers in Boston tomorrow. Will they play
mostly old stuff like "No More Heroes" etc, or more later stuff like "Skin
Deep" w/all the synths?

Killing Joke are one of the precious few bands I'll become "collector scum"
for.

editions (the 2cd and the 3cd) in one of my (last few remaining) favorite
disc shops over the weekend and figured -- I spend such less money on music
than I ever used to -- fuck it! -- and sprang for it. I'll keep this copy in
the car. That's my rationalization, anyway.

track selection (although I know we all can). I'm curious to see how this
rarities disc differs from the rarities disc in the box, as I've heard it
does. We'll see.

know what he does for that label. I'm sure he's an exceptionally nice guy
and has remarkable taste. But, honestly, why on God's green earth would you
recruit someone who -- by his own admission -- is only a passive late-comer
to Killing Joke to write the liner notes?? I mean, what the fuck? Was it
just cheaper that way?
