[kj] Question

Box sets.I dunno, you drool over the idea of buying it for a week or three,
then after a drastically boozy and disappointing night out with a bunch of
Robbie Williams fans you cave in and fork out a not-so-small fortune
(including currency conversion and exorbitant postage) for the Super Deluxe
limited / numbered / signed / cubic-zirconium-encrusted / ermine-fringed
version (because you're an ELITE FAN, not because you're a drunken fool),
you wait with baited breath....six agonising weeks later it arrives but you
have to pick it up from customs and pay as much as you already paid for the
whole package cos they think you're trying to smuggle a blunderbuss into the
country in parts using a homemade submarine, the bottom corner's slightly
dinged in, so you open it up, go through the mini-posters (that you will
never post) and singles and booklet ever so gingerly with jeweller's gloves
and a hockey mask on so as not to smear a cheesy-snack-dust-covered
thumb-print on it...then later on that night you're three songs in and
trying not to feel WRONG because they've painfully re-ordered songs that
you've listened to in a particular order since the Nixon administration.and
noticing that yes, they have indeed fucked up the mastering and
over-compressed it all to shit to cater to gormless iPhone toting kids, and
the originals - which you have all of - sound much, much better, just like
that bloke who looks like Comic Store Guy from The Simpsons who did the
Youtube video where you got into a seven-page-long argument with another fan
over a misunderstanding about a piece of trivia which it turns out was about
another band anyway, said (pause for breath).and you swear that's definitely
the last time you ever buy anything a) off the internet b) drunk and c) that
you ALREADY FUCKING HAVE, and somehow you STILL manage to get a permanent,
prominent, oily, orange cheesy-snack-dust thumb-print right over (insert
lead-singer's) face, which now has cat hairs stuck to it.and you DON'T EVEN
HAVE A FUCKING CAT (you're allergic to cats)..so you stay up for hours
torturing yourself by listening to how bad it sounds, but ripping it to FLAC
anyway, and you eventually come to the drunken conclusion that you know one
thing that can get rid of EVERY STAIN KNOWN TO MAN.so you go off to get your
lighter, and that's when things start to go downhill.

Maybe it's a me thing.

Guy mentions various Killing Joke-related incidents in his excellent
autobiography, but I don't recall him saying he'd played on anything.

I'd always assumed Raven was on Birds Of A Feather.

Perhaps the book in this FUCKING BOX SET will clear it up.

I have read somewhere that Guy played on Revelations! . . . . he is an old
friend of Youth & Alex P so there may be some mileage in the rumour?

He's on Twitter, I may ask him

Seems very quiet by the way................

But anyway. I have been asked a question and i am not 100% sure of teh
answer.

Did raven actually play on Birds of a Feather.
I thought someone said that it was a session player - Guy Pratt.

Anyone know for sure? Wiki says he did but y'know..............
