[kj] MMXII first listen:

Pole Shift - What the fuck is this? Already here it's easy to hear
Youth had WAY much control over the mixing of the album. The song
itself is pointless too. Fuck, i hate the keyboards.

When The Levee Breaks AKA Fema Camp AKA "oh no not more keyboards" -
Arh, gimme a fucking break. Just because Enigma once sampled Jaz
Coleman, doesn't mean they have to pay the favour back.

Exorcism II AKA Rapture - Not sure it dawned on them they already
wrote this song once.

Colony Collapse - Okay, this is ALMOST getting good. Less keyboard
wankery is a GOOD start, mixed with 70s glitter rock, it's actually
quite catchy, but not really what i'd consider a Killing Joke song.

Corporate Elect - Now THIS is more like it. This could easily become a
frequent player!

In Cythera - Pop song, yet masterpiece. My fave song of the album, hands down.

Primobile - The beginning sounds like Gary Numan. Not an annoying
song, but not my thing either.

Glitch - Ballsy, but pointless, and the vocal effects completely ruin
the little good the song is in itself. Plus, isn't this Intravenous
over again?

Trance - Whoa, so many bits here and there lifted straight off of
Pssyche, while the vocals remind me of Intellect. If it wasn't for
those fucking annoying keyboards, this would be my second fave of the
album. Ten bucks says Youth wrote the majority of this.

On All Hallow's Eve - No thanks, my lighter is nearly empty.

Total rating based on first listen: 5/10, in other words "as average
as it fucking gets". Fuck, what a disappointment after In Cythera ..
