*ahem aHEM!* I think you mean (that is, I hope you mean) "Extremities, Dirt, & Various yada yada..." in place of OTG, and bass in place of guitars in the above phrase. It was the word "masterpiece" that gave away your honest and innocent mistake of referring to OTG instead of ExDAVRE. A most forgivable oversight, seeing as how OTG is all of that as written, just not quite "masterpiece" enough.

Talking about pirates (see attachment)

PS: Nick, to help you get your head around the list, here’s some things that have been fiercely argued out but which we’ve finally managed to achieve general consensus on:

OTG is an under-appreciated prog-metal masterpiece, just with the guitars a bit low in the mix

Pandemonium has been voted best album in every poll by a surprising margin

Punk, while a technically and culturally inferior ‘art’ form, originating in the US, had a lasting contribution in influencing superior music later on, especially grunge

Geordie’s best when he’s chug-chugging in 4/4

Pirates > friends

What a strange mailing list this is, you have to "earn your right to
have an opinion", is there a holier than thou attitude going on here
about how much of a fucking KJ fan you are?!

Whilst my favourite gigs ever by KJ happened to be in Digbeth,
Birmingham, I have enjoyed all the gigs I have seen them play at in
Wolves except perhaps the last one when Jaz's voice was totally shot
on the Hossannas tour.

KJ have not played in Birmingham since the old Academy in 2005, which
has moved to a different site.

with Jane, and would add personally that any tense gigs by post punk
bands, northern gigs seem livelier.

I don't understand the "strange choice" of destinations though
considering KJ have played particularly on the Pandemonium tour x2 a
lot of the same venues as listed here before, and besides that one
date in Birmingham in 2005, have played Wolves predominantly in the
Midlands since 1994, guess they don't feel it to be a "strange choice"
and possibly actually like playing the Wulfrun Hall?
