I'd completely rather listen to Democracy and most of Hossanas over BTATS
and OTG!!

Nowthat is another misreading of the,?the... something. DEM is not their
best,
but it's still good and true to KJ-form.

You are herenow prescribed listenings of?Democracy, Aeon,?Mass,
Medicine?Wheel.
Take four times daily for 8-10 days,?as needed.

But then,?I prefer HOS?over OTG also; that's also counting the single from
HOS
(Universe B, Afterburner, Hosannas...) as part of HOS.

HOSANNAS is a brilliant album!
Geordie on top form and the last one to feature the great Raven.
?
Only one album worse than OTG and that is Democracy , so very?dull in
compariosn
to the rest
?

Exactly. It's layered like a sheet, a blanket, and a comforter during
winter.

I dug Hosannas out for the first time in a while a couple of weeks ago.
Still don?t rate it very highly ? a handful of half decent songs shine
through
the muddy production,

And they would have been more than half decent if they?d been half the
length
they were.

?
I never could stand the glossy BTATS production, although the remaster is a
big
improvement !!
Some decent songs on it, mind
?
I?ve always loved Democracy especially the layers and layers and layers of
Geordies guitars
???

Hosannas may not have lived up to expectation, but it is still very
listenworthy..?
just tweak the EQ a bit and away ya go..
there is classic KJ in that thar album, its just let down in a few places
(insert yr own pet peeve here), but on the whole, should not be written off,
and
not be put away and not played!

Once again, OTG sounds finished --- WRONG, but finished.

HOSANNAS sounds half-assed, half-baked, half-completed, half-hearted.

That's my problem with it.

"the last one to feature the great Raven"

Yeah, not that you can really hear his contributions to the
proceedings, given the crap production.

Honestly, it's the worst album they ever birthed. You don't have to
agree with me. It's just my opinion. I just happen to be right, that's
all. :)
