[kj] GEM label pressing history?

hehe i grew up in New Brunswick Nj real close to th eJem factory,and Cheap
thrills record store had loads of Jem cut out records,for like 1.99 and .99
cents,loved it,yeah KJ records,i could'nt tell ya if they were worse than
the UK pressings,sounded ok to me.I even worked at a warehouse filled with
old cut outs and misc weird stuff,that was a distributor,they reissued
charles mansions record and stuff like that,haha.
