[kj] Is This Youth On Bass?

Quite right, Bingo (duh!) my bad. Only met him a couple of times but one of them was after the Astoria gig when he got sacked. Had a chat with him and felt really bad as he said he didn't really do anything wrong. I seem to remember saying something like "perhaps that's the reason they sacked you!"

i think it was Bingo. He is/was an Aussie fireman who was always down the front at The Birthday Party gigs. Fuzz knew him well so recruited him to come on stage "on fire" in a flame retardant suit at later Silverfish gigs. This was a couple of years before him working with Killing Joke breathing fire.

Quality is poor but you get the idea

The guy who did the fire juggling/breathing stage show stuff and the like was a really cool guy called Bongo.

He got sacked by the band after the Astoria gig.
