You  are right Jim. But we must remember that point is he a wank...  and 
always will be! Why would he want to travel and get away in  Laos?  MMMMM? 
Maybe because there is a few of  us would like to set him straight  person

As for why people bother responding, I imagine it's probably  frustration. 
His sole purpose here is to piss people off, and after a  few years of this

The chatter on the gathering is alternately interesting,  informative, 
friendly and hysterically funny, none of which accurately  describes Pete. It's 
got along quite well without a wind-up merchant;  you can't blame people for 
wondering why it has to have one now.
