It's not always a good idea. Nine times out of ten, people don't want
to goto a show and hear music they don't know. I remember going to see
Motley Crue back in the late 90s (yeah, I know -- serves me right) and
they came out on stage with much fanfare. "Hey there, NYC!" -- huge
cheers -- "We got a new album coming out this week" -- huge cheers ---
"And we're going to play the whole thing for you RIGHT NOW!" ---- HUGE
BOOS!

Half the crowd dispersed to the bar and the bathrooms. Half-way
through the set, the `Crue finally got the message and started digging
into their back catalog.

The album failed to sell anyway (that being GENERATION SWINE).
