Got to agree with this. Luxon told me that I was going to be refunded. Never happened. The cancelled gigs this year cost me close to a grand. But I will still buy...

Have to disagree on the Gems of Power, if you take peoples money and then don't bother to send them what they have paid for then they need to be refunded said monies. Matt stole our money made some interest on it and refused to refund anyone that to me is definetly theft!

I ve left the U.K.
I noticed that a lot of people seem to be dying , and it dawned on me that my time will come soon, so I'll let those Eastern Europeans build the houses and I packed up and am travelling around the World . I am going to find somewhere that I like and live there . I may try to find a rainforest in Indonesia that doesnt have any large spiders , I f'kin hate spiders .
Anyway , I agree that most people on the Gathering will buy the album , but the casual music fan may just download it and not bother buying it upon its release .
Gems of power and cancelled gigs are not deliberate acts of theft , they are projects that didnt materialise . The original intention wasnt to steal or to deceive . Unlike the taking of the music, which is deliberately taking something that you have no right to take .

I think it mostly sits in with 2003 personally. It's got an uptempo vibe - nowehere near as dark as Hosannas.

But I can definitely see the pre-first album influences there, mainlu the guitar, as well as a couple of Night Time and even BTATS references (The Raven King reminds me a bit of Sanity).

Don't see much in the way of Revelations/Fire Dances in there. The drums are not very tribal.

But it's a great album - really enjoying the melody in there and the fact that Jaz sings on some of the tracks!

Good work fellas!

The album is going to be up on torrents anyway so the casual music fan will always get it.
The way it was leaked was very much a case of "you have to be in the know". A random search via torrent sites showed nothing for weeks- I know cos I tried.

As for Gems, it does exist! It materialised in as much as it was recorded and mastered. People were charged for something that was never delivered.
The fact that it's not all that good doesn't come into it.

Consider this one all Pete! The intention of everyone is to have a listen prior to release and then buy it.

Enjoy your travels. All power to you for talking the leap that so many of us are fearful of!
