I still can't understand the lack of Endgame love . . . to my (tinnitus
ridden) ears it is pure KJ

I'd just like to let Jon know that on my recent swift visit to London
town I walked the
extra few hundred yards from HMV Oxford St and went and bought my copy
in Sister Ray instead.
(I may have gone a bit nuts in HMV's dvd department but Sister Ray don't
sell movies so
I felt like that was OK)

Haven't listened to the covers disc yet but remember quite liking that
daffy easy-listening
version of Pssyche when I heard it.

Anyway its good to blast the real non-mp3 thing out of the speakers -
liking pretty much
everything (but still programming the cd player to skip Endgame). This
World Hell is a grower
depending on mood, the only one I'm struggling with now is Honour The
Fire.
Still, best LP since Pandemonium for sure, possibly Night Time. A friend
described ESS as
"Kylie on steroids".

And the sleeve is green... looks better for it.
Haven't digested the lyrics yet - can't wait ;)

So, I ordered it from whatuk, and it showed up today.

Obviously by now I've already heard all of the tracks, but there's still
something special about holding the CD in my hand....

And it really is a blinder, isn't it?

My firm favourites are:

Absolute Dissent

European Super State

The Raven King

Here Comes the Singularity

Ghosts of Ladbroke Grove

in the middle:

Fresh Fever

In Excelsis

Honour the Fire

Depthcharge

not doing much:

The Great Cull

This World Hell

Endgame

Fuck HMV.

I rang them this morning. "Absolute Dissent by Killing Joke, yes, we
have it in stock."

So I walked into town to get a copy for the drive down to Bristol.

"Absolute Dissent by Killing Joke? Yes, it's in stock, but it isn't
released till Monday so we can't sell it to you."

Cunts.

hail to HMV!

Double disc arrived today..surprised that the artwork is a different
colourscheme to the adverts I've seen, a more doomladen green tinge to
it.

In other news there is a small but positive review and interview with
Jaz in Bizarre magazine - no I can't scan it sorry..and it isn't worth
getting the magazine for, but if you are a pervert you may wish to read
it in "Smiths", you'll find it on the top shelf
