[kj] ot- request kj manager

Yes, I think Rob makes a fair point.

I always thought Jaz would play a dominant role in informally managing the band, which is why I'm so surprised at his recent interview comments about how Spine Farm changed the artwork without consent. I didn't something like that would happen with KJ.

Point taken, and a fair one, too. I think on some deeper level I realize I meant that jab at the band (i.e. JAZ), seeing how deep down it's always seemed to me that any formal management the band has or had prolly could do no different than whatever Jaz forced them to. That, all filtered thru the timeless story of Band-as-Innocent-Victim is what misdirected my jab at the band.

So then.. who (and how?) got Jeremy to lose all the weight? Was it a choice between that and an emo haircut?

Honestly, I think the management get a raw deal here sometimes.

What KJ does is pretty transparent largely because Jaz says lot of things that perhaps he shouldn't and then the management has to deal with the after effects.

Ok. Gems of power. That was a fuck up but I think there is alot behind the story. I am not at all sure it's the managements fault. I saw a great deal of Raven at the time and there was much going on. The money is not in Matt Luxon's pocket.

But in a wider context, to get the four original members together, gigging, recording and getting paid enough so thy are happy to do it takes a huge amount of effort and a considerable amount of skill. I can imagine it is like herding kittens at the best of times!
