At the time, I loved it... mainly because it wasn't OTG and my beloved Joke had clearly stopped their drift towards pap. (The gigs were top notch too.) I still rate MINOG and Solitude (and The Fanatic, which I've had on a bootleg since '89). Beautiful Dead is pretty good too. But I think overall it gets the prize for most overrated KJ album.
