2-0, amazing! Who would've thought that, especially after seeing France play Uruguay a few days ago.  (I'm not normally a big booster of MEX but) I haven't been this happy watching MEX play since it beat the living daylights out of USA 5-0 just a few months ago, remember that?
It's been a pretty vivid day so far: after the game, some guys leaving a major Oaxacan restaurant reworked the lyrics to an old classic and were singing, "Mexico lindo y querido, si juegas lejos de mi..."etc.et.ce.ter.a...

Meanwhile here in midtown/koreatown Los Angeles, there may be more "partying" in the streets tonight what with MEX winning over FRA, S.Korea today having played Argentina (watching it just now on tape as ARG scores), and tonight the NBA Finals (basketball) Game 7 (Lakers-Celtics) will be here in L.A. tonight, which usually means at least a mini-riot, with rocks, bricks and flames. Did I say vivid?  8)

A mix between vacations and too much World Cup left me away from The Gathering for almost two weeks, now i found this new tune and i´m speechless. I´ve only listened to it once but i don´t think this song will like me a lot more in the future. It´s like a joke (but not The Joke!). My first impression is it´s like a cheering Mad Capsule Markets tune (you remember? this japanese band that is/was influenced by KJ and even mad a nice cover of Wardance). If you´d tell me this is a side project -or something like that- it should be ok, but not to be a proper Killing Joke track.

My two pesos

The guitar has no body, no power, no point of existing. Why have Geordie play if what he creates sounds like a kid who just learned IV chords at a guitar center on a POD.
