Jordan Maxwell is the primary source for most of the religion and New World
Order parts of the Zeitgeist documentaries. He's one of the old skool
gangsta Conspiracy Theorists (he's actually got endorsements from KRS One,
Ice T, Wu Tang and a bunch of other rappers on his website, who used his
material for inspiration in songs, along with lots of other musicians, but I
digress...). He's been at it for going on 50 years now.

He's come out recently, amidst various dramas like dropping hints, half
mentioning things in interviews that he walks out on etc (great PR builder
for the target market of course), that he thinks he's finally approaching
the central theory he's been orbiting for his whole career. The reason I
mention it is that interestingly the symbolism around it will be instantly
recognisable to Joke fans as something covered in the A New Day.

So I think his angle is that there's a race of aliens living amongst us, who
modified the human race back in the day to make us look like them, who are
behind everything everywhere, operate through a Sun Cult, and the 'dawn of a
new day', which is symbology they have been using throughout history, is an
event where they take control and mutate human beings (again) to a new
level. But possibly in a bad way. Gasp.

Anyway if you have almost 3 hours free you can watch him talk about it
(interview below), but about 30 mins in he starts actually getting to the
point after a bit of cat and mouse with the interviewers, and if you have
the time to watch you might be struck like I was that Killing Joke have
basically done the theme song for his ideas already, in A New Day. The video
is dripping with occult references, Easter Island statues (which I think to
people with these beliefs ties into the Anunaki ideas of the progenitors of
the human race, 20 foot tall aliens etc), ritual, the first shot of Jaz has
him in full goth getup doing the horns wearing a Nazca print shirt etc...
the lyrics reference the sun in the east, "tell me I'm still human" (a man
becomes the people?), hypnotism etc (Jaz looks pretty hypnotic / mesmerising
/ mesmerised)

Anyway just something to look into if you're interested in the ideas that
some of the band members espouse and stuff I believe is covered in the
upcoming doco / movie.
