[kj] KJ IN China 7/31: more pics

That festival smells like a PR stunt by the People's leadership to un-scare 
foreigners into not being scared and come to China: "look, we can be "Western" 
too. Please.. turn around, come back..." It's like a recent PR newspaper 
insert for Abu Dhabi where they(Emirati gov't) openly-yet-covertly swears up n' 
down taht foreigners will indeed get a double standard (to benefit them!), as 
opposed to the local hand-cutting, head-lopping punishments, if only the West 
will come t o Abu Dhabi and 'settle your business here.' Irony much?
