Kraftwerk, Fripp and now this?  The Gathering is quite something.  Congregating in mutual affection for one band, yet bearing similar tastes in greatly divergent musics.  From a sociological standpoint, an in depth study could reveal great secrets about mankind.  But I'm too fucking tired to start that now. 

Also, I'll add Saafi Brothers and Steve Roach.

It's 99% worthless and 1% amazing, but that goes for any genre of music, right? 
 
That said, I completely fucking love Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Kid 606, Higher Intelligence Agency, Deep Space Network, Biosphere, Underworld, Burial, Mordant Music, Juno Reactor, m83, Autechre, Freak Electrique, Venetian Snares, Otto Von Shirach, Skinny Puppy, Robert Rich, Pete Namlook, Muslimgauze, Monolake, Thomas Leer and Robert Rental, Mouse on Mars, Kavinsky, SebastiAn, Daft Punk, Pink Skull, Peaches, Crystal Castles, OVe-NaXx, Saskrotch, and, most recently, the new M.I.A. album MAYA is fucking AMAZING. A discussion evolved in another thread that got me curious as to where everyone stands on "electronic" music.  Granted the definition can get cloudy and the genres are quite varied, but, where do Gatherers stand?  Ambient, Glitch, Trance, Minimal, Shite?  What do you like/hate and why/why not?
