I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that I think White Stripes are
over-rated. Not bad, in fact quite good at times. But over-rated. Meg is
god-awful on drums, the link posted to disprove that did nothing at all for
me. Jack sounded fine, she just has NO TALENT and can't even keep a beat. As
far as being hot - she's not. And If you're gonna listen to music for that,
you might as well go whole hog and listen to the Pussycat Dolls J

I saw them back in 2007 or something and she couldn't come close to keeping
a beat. Probably the most shitbox drummer I've ever seen.

For my money, Meg does quite alright for herself .... and looks damn good
doing it.

I think the reason I never bothered with THE ARGUMENT was because END HITS
was kinda a snore.
But let's get started on my list again, please. Hell, someone recently cited
AFI -- that's just as bad (if not worse, in my book) than My Chemical
Colostomy Bag.
Meanwhile, I have to say that I'm entirely loving the new Whie Stripes live
album.

_End Hits_ and _Steady Diet_ were Fugazi's weakest LPs. I think their
strongest LP was _In on the Killtaker_, followed by _Repeater_ followed by
_The Argument, followed by _Red Medicine_. "13 Songs" is a collection of
two EPs. If you want to call it, however, an "LP," then I'd place it in 2nd
place behind _In on the Killtaker_. Not every music lover would agree with
this. Certainly not every Fugazi fan would.
Compared to crap like The Vines and Be Your Own Pet and also (sorry) but a
lot of the stuff, on for ex., Alex's Top 50 list, _The Argument_ is, IMHO,
pretty damn great. It isn't someting I chose because it, hey, it's Fugazi,
so, well, gotta give 'em props, regardless of their output. Because I
honestly think their _End Hits_ LP from 1998 sucks.

I said this before and I'll say it again. The Arguement: A good album. Good,
not great. Probably their weakest and definitely not worthy of a Top 50 that
comprises an entire decade. A glaring omission? Only if they are being
included simply because they put out any album at all, rather than an
awesome album.
