Every Fugazi album is great, but I find that In on the Killtaker and End Hits are the only 2 that are really consistently great from start to finish. With Fugazi, it's more about specific songs spread over many albums that make me really love them. Stuff like Reclamation, Repeater, Promises, Epic Problem, Bed for the Scraping, Waiting Room, Shut the Door, Blueprint, By You, and on and on....It's hard to really pin down specifically which albums are the strongest (other than the 2 I mentioned). I find this goes for several bands who have larger discographys, in particular the Melvins, Motorhead, Skinny Puppy, Beatles, Nomeansno, and for sure Killing Joke.

Fugazi are fantastic live too. I saw them twice as well - Red Medicine tour and End Hits tour and both times, they brought it. Ian is intense and driven, always awesome. Guy goes off with the hilarious dance moves and provides the performance aspect. It's a great dynamic. And they would play songs spanning their entire discography, which is something lots of bands just don't do, despite the fact that they've got the source material just sitting there.

YOU LIKE END HITS BETTER THAN .... REPEATER????? (!!!)

You are right. We do come from different worlds.

Well, not really. We're quibbling about the placement of Fugazi albums in their canon. More people have bought Presidents of the USA and Hootie and the Blowfish LPs than Fugazi albums.

I put End Hits right behind In On the Killtaker as second best. You and I come from different worlds.
