Have you seen Perry's acting debut in the Jane's Addiction film "Gift"?  It is pretty, er, unique, and supports your argument that Farrell shouldn't or couldn't front NIN.  

However, I want the old Trent Reznor back before he decided to roid out.  Now he is scary, not "weird and enigmatic".  

Damn, seems like Jeremy, judging from that picture posted, is trying the latest fad too.....his body fat is significantly down.  Those veins in his left arm bulging out.....why Jaz, *why* damn it!  You were such a paradigm of moderation before! How dare you!

Hmmm. ... both are engaging performers, but Farrell taking Reznor's place: No.

I always thought Rick Astley seemed incapable of a dangerous lifestyle, or even a fun one.

I always thought Rick should be making a comeback. His unhealthy lifestyle got to him, though.
Maybe he should replace Trent?
