I saw Skinny Puppy in `87/`88 tour (circa VIVIsectVI) and again on the TOO DARK PARK tour (90?91?), and both times were entirely harrowing in a beautiful way.

But Duane is dead.

I caught Skinny Puppy on their 2004 reunion tour and again on their 2007 tour. Both times were very, very good, especially the 2007 show. New album this spring, I think. I'm also really looking forward to the reunited Brutal Truth and the album they'll be releasing fairly soon.

Some other bands I'd love to see reform in one way or another are Stump, Mr. Bungle, Failure.....that's all I can think of right now. 9 out of 10 times, the reunion idea is a bad one. Most bands should just leave well enough alone rather than sullying their good names with half-assed performances. This whole Faith No More seems really iffy. Although, Bill Gould is on Twitter and claims that things are going really good in rehearsals and is hinting that a new album might come of this.

I'm definitely not disappointed about seeing the Pistols in 1996, or Gang of Four a couple of years ago (never saw either back in the days)!

I wish these folks would stop. I guess the royalty checks are getting thin?
9 times out of ten, these events are a huge disappointment.
Unless we've all gone senile and are now in our second childhood?

On the subject of bands reforming and as mentioned in this article, there can't be a lot left.
We've had Sex Pistols, Magazine, Gang Of Four, KJ (original), Faith No More, Pixies...the list goes on and on.
The one I'd like to see again is a first two LP era PiL.

Brian.
