     that the track would be a pared down.

   

     "After several hours of trying to get the

     singer to do what he wanted, and having consumed

     large quantities of ragedust, Jones had finally

     snapped and attacked the poor freak. Needless

     to say, after the outburst, MJ sang the song

     how he was told to, and the rest is history."

  I knew he wouldn't do any of those 50 dates!  But I didn't think the reason would be that he'd died.  Weird.

   

  I didn't hear about it until this morning.  I had a dream last night that I was doing the moonwalk - and that's not exactly a common theme in my dreams.  Spooky.  Ooooo..

   

  I also thought he was simply an easy target - a fucked up oddball tortured by himself and his own skin.  Will we ever know for sure?  

   

  Billie Jean is still a fucking great slice of pop, no matter what.
