Yes, I concur. Much as I like Judas Goat, they've not trail-blazed for many
years. However, there's an extent to which going to a KJ gig now is
nostalgic; the Forum and Heaven sets were like time travel. Still, if
Geordie's demos are anything to go by, and if Jaz can be diverted from his
belief that we only like KJ when he's crapping on about global apocalypse,
the next album could be staggering.

I hate Fear Factory. Venomously.

Here's something that sums up my opinion on these tracks. I saw that poster
for Sonisphere today & right there toward the bottom was KJ, with (fucking
hellfire) Fear Factory above them.

How little they know...

I wish KJ would bring some complexity/variety back into their music, instead
of chasing the coat-tails of those they have influencecd.

I'm with you on Asteroid (although it may be because I've heard it live too
many times - no, I thought it was weak the first time I heard it too) but I
disagree about "Whiteout" (although I typed "Shiteout" first, which may be
telling), which is great. Only problem I have with it is the issue I have
with the whole album; Youth's ravey production is unsuited.

I recall a fantastic Whiteout remix that played between the main set and the
encore at the Astoria paper mask gig which I've not heard anywhere else, I
don't think.
