[kj] (OT) When bands go really 'off'

The Cockney Rejects are one of the greatest "bands going off" 
stories!  From total no-nonsense punk  to AC/DC and UFO, then onto really 
REALLY ridiculous stuff with funk leanings, country and western and just 
general BAD IDEAS! It's truly hilarious! Stinky Turner being called 
Jefferson Turner on the metal stuff. Half the band at the Olympic gig 
mentioned hadn't even heard the old songs like Police Car...they were 
planning on doing all their "great" new stuff. It was just like "WHAT ARE 
YOU DOING? STOP IT!"
My Rejects piss-take band the Jockney Rejects are doing our first gig in 
years in a few months... if only we could be bothered to learn all the 
awful later stuff to show that even piss-take "tribute" bands can 
"progress". But we can't.
