[kj] (OT) Crabcore? What the Fuckin' HELL???

Dropkicks are huge here in Boston (they even recorded a theme song for the Red Sox and played at the World Series victory parades) but yes they are cookie-cutter punk. When I compare singers that sound alike, I'm thinking in relative terms. Shelly and Devoto sound a lot more alike than Bon Scott and Pavoratti, or Johnny Rotten and Dean Martin, for example!

And Bon Scott doesn't sound exactly like Brian Johnson, does he? Similiar but distinctly separate.

I'd say you were 0 for 3 but I have no idea what the 2 singers from the Dropkick Murphys sound like. I mean, no one actually likes that shitty band, right?

I thought the singer from JudeASS Priest was an oldish guy w/white hair (I'm ignorant about metal). Is this a new version of the band? (It's pretty hard to change lead singers and still have the same band, unless it happens early in their career a la ACDC, Buzzcocks (very early) or Dropkick Murphys, and all 3 of those bands had a 2nd singer that sounded exactly like the first).
