Perfectly reasonable. There's lots to dislike about them.

 

Personally, I've long regretted selling my early U2 collection (up to
Unforgettable Fire), with all the Irish coloured vinyl 7"s autographed. If
I'd have waited to sell, I could just about retire on the proceeds.

Heh!

 

Actually, I like U2. The reissues of the first three albums were among my
top buys last year. Been waiting for "A Celebration" on CD for ages.

 

There's something really absurd about U2 that appeals to me. Adam's perm on
the cover of my favourite album of theirs, "October" (although less so his
genitalia on "Achtung Baby"). The Enossifications (I love Brian Eno).
"Bullet The Blue Sky".

 

Don't like "Pop", though. When they're not proselytising, they are capable
of writing excellent pop songs.

It appears to me that anyone with the means to record whatever is pumped
through their soundcard would be able to rip what they liked; clearly, an
