I was not into them in the early days , in fact it was not until This is my truth that i really took notice of them.

I now have all their albums and try and see them once on each tour.

Awesome lyrics to most of their songs and a band that maybe huge but they still have stuck to their values and never sold out.

My fave albums are probably the more commercial ones ie Everything must go and Send away the tigers.

personaly it was a funny thing for me regarding the manics i was aware they were important to some people but i felt that although tey appeared subversive they also appeared to be mainstream ..especially after richie's departure ..i guess they just didn't make much of an impression on me plus at the time i was heavily into new model army so they took precedence

I’ve got most of their stuff including lipstick traces. I liked them most around Holy Bible through the next two. Forever Delayed was a great track I thought. But yeah I got my bubble burst something chronic for mentioning them here…LOL. Doesn’t bother me, I can see how you could not like them, their early videos were awful, pretentious nonsense, so was Bradfield saying they were better than Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. He’s a big Guns N Roses fan though, fair play, not many people admit that these days.

Are you surprised at the possibility that people might like a band that you don't? I don't consider Generation Terrorists (the album containing this song) to be one of the Manics' best but I am a firm fan of this talented and yes, successful (mostly in Europe) band.

It *is* awful, period. And this band was actually successful? Good God.
